The castle is located in the center of Hunedoara County, in the south-western part of Hunedoara, on the last eastern branches of Poiana Rusca Mountains. In absolute coordinates, the castle has the following position: 45 ° 44 'north latitude and 22 ° 53' east. Access can be made via DE 7 to the village of Sântuhalm, east or west, and then follow DN 68 B to the city of Hunedoara. The entrance is made following the Traian, Republic and Liberty boulevards. The end point is the City Hall, and from there, following Constantin Bursan Street, you are welcomed by the castle's silhouette.
